Basketball Game Preview: Chattanooga Warriors vs. Granite

The Chattanooga Warriors will venture away from home to square off against Granite at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattanooga's defense has only allowed 25.1 points per game this season, so Granite's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Chattanooga is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Walters just ended the team's 16-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to the Blue Devils 43-38. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Granite has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Thackerville.

Granite's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6. As for Chattanooga, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 16-1.

Things could have been worse for Chattanooga, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-40 loss to Granite when the teams last played back in February of 2019. Can Chattanooga avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
