The Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 14th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 72-32 loss at the hands of New Life Academy. Bethel Assembly Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-17.
Despite the defeat, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy had strong showings from Bryce Conner, who scored 13 points, and Levi Dozier, who scored six points.
New Life Academy was led to victory by Jordan Dunn and Dontrel Lee. Dunn scored 19 points, while Lee scored 29 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Lee has scored at least a third of New Life Academy's points.
Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for New Life Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
