Preview: Becton Wildcats vs. St. Mary Gaels
After three games on the road, Becton is heading back home. They will take on the St. Mary Gaels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Becton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully St. Mary likes a good challenge.
Becton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They strolled past Wood-Ridge with points to spare, taking the game 80-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, St. Mary lost to Ramapo on the road by a decisive 57-43 margin on Sunday. St. Mary has not had much luck with Ramapo recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Becton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for St. Mary, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.
Becton was taken down by St. Mary 78-46 in their previous matchup on January 5th. Will Becton have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
