Football Game Preview: Burr & Burton vs. Middlebury

After two weeks on the road, Burr & Burton is heading back home. On Friday they take on Middlebury at 7:00 PM. Burr & Burton have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Middlebury might have their hands full.

Last Friday, Burr & Burton put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Spaulding 55-6. With Burr & Burton ahead 41-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, after a big victory against Bellows Free Academy two weeks ago, Middlebury came back down to earth. Middlebury were given a punishing 7-42 defeat at the hands of Rutland.

Burr & Burton's win lifted them to 5-0 while Middlebury's loss dropped them down to 2-3. Burr & Burton have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 52.8 points per game. We'll see if Middlebury can find some way to disarm them.
