Basketball Recap: Rothsay Takes a Loss

Rothsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheaton Warriors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (63), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Rothsay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wheaton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rothsay is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will face off against Battle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheaton, they will venture away from home to take on Underwood at 7:15 p.m. on December 17th.
