Flag Football Game Preview: Cleveland Rams vs. Clayton Comets

The Cleveland Rams will take on the Clayton Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Cleveland 5.4, Clayton 9.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Cleveland is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Smithfield-Selma 30-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina flag football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Spartans are ranked 42nd).

Karsyn Hudacky had a dynamite game, rushing for 40 yards and one TD, while also picking up 33 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Garner.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Cleveland was able to grind out a solid victory over Clayton in their previous meeting on Monday, winning 19-12. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Comets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
