Basketball Recap: Renton Takes a Loss

Renton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 62-29 defeat at the hands of the Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Cougars are ranked 32nd).

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Renton has already played their next match (against Bothell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bothell/Inglemoor will take on Eastlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
