Penobscot Valley came up into this matchup off a tough 26-point defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Greenville Lakers by a score of 40-37 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Howlers have suffered since December 12, 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Penobscot Valley and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Greenville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
