Recap: Northside Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Palmetto Christian Academy

The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against Palmetto Christian Academy by a score of 82-71. Given Northside Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Palmetto Christian Academy is ranked 258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northside Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dane Sundell, who scored 19 points along with nine assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Sullie Crider, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.

Northside Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Orangeburg Prep at 8:00 p.m.
