Round Rock had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the La Vernia Bears. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Leading Round Rock to victory were Aubrey Goode and Nila Beauchamp. Goode had 16 assists and three digs, while Beauchamp had 11 assists and five digs.

Round Rock's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for La Vernia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.

Round Rock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Georgetown on the 23rd. As for La Vernia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Tivy on the 23rd.
