Basketball Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 60-52 to the Rapid City Christian Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-46 on Friday.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Rapid City Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Stevens will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rapid City Christian, they will head out to challenge Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
