Softball Recap: North Marion Comes Up Short

North Marion and Palatka squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Marion had to settle for second. They lost 15-0 to the Panthers. The Colts just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Palatka, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-10.

North Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palatka, they will face off against Santa Fe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
