Baseball Game Preview: Swansea Tigers vs. Keenan Raiders

The Swansea Tigers will take on the Keenan Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Keenan will be up against a hot Swansea team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. Swansea's pitchers stepped up to hand Pelion a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Swansea got a massive performance out of Kreaton Steppe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Steppe hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Harper, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Keenan made easy work of Columbia on Wednesday and carried off a 21-6 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Capitals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Keenan's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Swansea, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
