Baseball Recap: DeForest Takes a Loss

The DeForest Norskies lost 9-1 to the Aquinas Blugolds on Wednesday. The Norskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeForest got a good showing from Joseph Hall, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, DeForest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Ugalde, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Ugalde's first of the season.

DeForest's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Aquinas, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeForest will host Beaver Dam at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Norskies will need to watch out since the Golden Beavers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Aquinas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sparta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
