Recap: Eastern Tech Mavericks vs. Dulaney Lions
It was a good run, but the Eastern Tech Mavericks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 73-52 loss at the hands of Dulaney. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Eastern Tech has suffered yet this season.
Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adrian Pefianco, who scored 14 points. Brian James Jr was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Eastern Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Dulaney, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
Eastern Tech will take on Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Perry Hall's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Dulaney, they will head out on the road to square off against Patapsco at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Patapsco will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Dulaney is ranked 99th).
