Basketball Game Preview: Chilton Tigers vs. Kiel Raiders

The Chilton Tigers will head out to square off against the Kiel Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Chilton is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Sheboygan Falls just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 43-35 to the Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Falcons are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, Kiel entered their contest against Valders on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Kiel lost to Valders at home by a 56-39 margin.

Kiel's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Chilton, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 6-3.

Chilton strolled past Kiel when the teams last played back in February by a score of 45-31. Will Chilton repeat their success, or does Kiel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
