Basketball Game Preview: Webb Spartans vs. Baylor Red Raiders

The Webb Spartans will take on the Baylor Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Webb will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Webb against Chattanooga Christian as the squad secured a 74-42 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Baylor faced McCallie in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Red Raiders were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Blue Tornado. While the Red Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Tornado 17-6 in the first quarter.

Webb's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Baylor, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-7.

Webb beat Baylor 56-44 when the teams last played last Tuesday. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
