The Pinnacle's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mario Munoz, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 22 points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Munoz a new career-high. Caleb Arellano was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten steals.

The Pinnacle's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. As for Aurora West College Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
