Basketball Recap: Greenfield Starts Season with Win Against Ravenscroft

Greenfield had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 58-48 win over the Ravenscroft Ravens on Wednesday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 72-66 victory the Ravens walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Kobe Edwards was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 44% from the field on his way to 26 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The contest was his 11th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Moore, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Greenfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Coming up, Greenfield will take on Living Water Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ravenscroft, they will square off against GRACE Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
