Basketball Recap: Boonton Takes a Loss

Boonton was the 54-40 winner over Academy of St. Elizabeth when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Boonton Bombers received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 52-33 to the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boonton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Academy of St. Elizabeth, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Boonton has already played their next contest (against Whippany Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers duke it out with the Hackettstown Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
