Baseball Game Preview: Cambridge Springs Devils vs. Jamestown Muskies

Cambridge Springs is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Monday. They will head out on the road to face off against the Jamestown Muskies at 4:00 p.m. Jamestown took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cambridge Springs, who comes in off a win.

While Devils fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Union City last Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The Devils haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brett Kania was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alexander Doubet, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Jamestown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to Lakeview.
