Basketball Recap: Crescent City Comes Up Short

Crescent City was the 67-63 winner over Interlachen when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crescent City Raiders lost 71-45 to the Interlachen Rams on Thursday. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Interlachen was led to victory by Kemontae Nixon and Devon Williams. Nixon dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Williams went 7 for 16 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrance Haynes, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and six boards.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Interlachen, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.

Crescent City has already played their next game (against Halifax Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Interlachen won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against P.K. Yonge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
