Potlatch has gone 8-2 against Clearwater Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Loggers will face off against the Rams at 1:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Potlatch comes in on eight and Clearwater Valley on four.
On Friday, Potlatch beat Prairie 6-2.

Connor Carpenter was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Trey Magallon was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Cole Comstock was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Clearwater Valley hadn't done well against Kendrick recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Tigers 7-5.
The team relied heavily on Harvey Wellard, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Tovin Lundgren, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Clearwater Valley's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Potlatch, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Potlatch has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Clearwater Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
