Softball Recap: Goddard Has No Trouble Against Clovis

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goddard). They blew past the Clovis Wildcats 21-9 on Thursday. With that win, the Rockets brought their scoring average up to 7.6 runs per game.

Marisol Hernandez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Roxanna Serrano, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Goddard was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Goddard and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
