Basketball Game Preview: Randolph Ghosts vs. Woodstock Wasps

The Randolph Ghosts will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Woodstock Wasps at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Randolph came up short against Lake Region and fell 53-45.

Meanwhile, Woodstock didn't have quite enough to beat White River Valley on Monday and fell 60-57. The loss continues a trend for the Wasps in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Woodstock, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Randolph strolled past Woodstock when the teams last played back in February by a score of 62-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randolph since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
