Basketball Recap: Bethesda Christian Takes a Loss

Bethesda Christian played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers and fell 59-14. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

Allie Schellenberg went supernova for Crosspointe Christian Academy, going 5 for 9 on her way to 12 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Schellenberg is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Stock, who posted ten points and three steals.

Bethesda Christian's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
