Muddy River HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Houston HomeSchool on Friday. Muddy River HomeSchool took down Lake Houston HomeSchool 82-68. Given the Counselors' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 43rd in Mississippi, while the Conquerors are ranked 739th in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, CHSA HomeSchool was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 70-65 to Fort Worth THESA.

Muddy River HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 26-2. As for CHSA HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.
