Basketball Game Preview: Lakeside Vikings vs. Chapel Hill Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Lakeside Vikings will jump right back in to play the Chapel Hill Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeside is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Lakeside came up short against Decatur on Friday, falling 51-27. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chapel Hill earned a 68-61 victory over Canarsie on Saturday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 105th in Georgia, while the Wolfpack are ranked eighth in New York).

Chapel Hill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Lakeside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
