Mater Academy East Las Vegas has no trouble against Virgin Valley

Recap: Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights vs. Virgin Valley Bulldogs
The Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights won against the Virgin Valley Bulldogs last Thursday with 71 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas strolled past Virgin Valley with points to spare, taking the game 71-57. Mater Academy East Las Vegas pushed the score to 60-36 by the end of the third, a deficit Virgin Valley cut but never quite recovered from.
Despite the defeat, Virgin Valley saw an underclassman step up: Corban Waite scored seven points along with five assists and four steals. Waite has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rodrigo Lopez, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Virgin Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Virgin Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
