Soccer Game Preview: Greene County vs. Bay

Greene County hasn't had much luck against Bay recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Greene County face off against the Bay at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Greene County is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Enterprise.

Meanwhile, Bay faced St. Stanislaus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Bay took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Stanislaus. The Tigers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Greene County might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Bay when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Greene County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
