Baseball Recap: Oakland Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Oakland's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Myrtle Point Bobcats on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Oakers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Oakland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Myrtle Point, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland will welcome Oakridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Myrtle Point, they will be playing at home against Waldport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
