Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Palmyra-Macedon

Palmyra-Macedon hadn't done well against Waterloo recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Red Raiders walked away with a 20-16 win over the Tigers. The Red Raiders' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Palmyra-Macedon let Shelby Geer and Elianna Rouland run wild. Geer went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI, while Rouland went 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Jillian Anthony was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Palmyra-Macedon's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Waterloo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Palmyra-Macedon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
