Soccer Game Preview: EF Academy vs. Webb

The EF Academy Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Webb Gauls at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Webb took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on EF Academy, who comes in off a win.

EF Academy headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but SEED: LA let them put that streak behind them. The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Grizzlies an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. EF Academy haven't had any issues with SEED: LA recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Webb's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of San Gabriel Academy by a score of 2-1.

EF Academy now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Webb, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 4-7-2.

EF Academy might still be hurting after the 7-3 loss they got from Webb when the teams last played back in December of 2025. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
