Basketball Game Preview: Blair-Taylor Wildcats vs. Independence/Gilmanton Indees

The Blair-Taylor Wildcats will challenge the Independence/Gilmanton Indees at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Blair-Taylor is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Augusta 78-35 on Monday. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Independence/Gilmanton beat Boyceville 66-57 on Friday.

Independence/Gilmanton pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Blair-Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Blair-Taylor came up short against Independence/Gilmanton in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 48-37. Can Blair-Taylor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
