Volleyball Recap: South Bend Washington Takes a Loss

South Bend Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Mishawaka Marian Knights. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-4, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Maryssa Evans, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

South Bend Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Mishawaka Marian, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, South Bend Washington and South Bend Adams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mishawaka Marian, they will take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
