Volleyball Recap: Panther Creek Comes Up Short

Panther Creek was the 2-1 winner over Saginaw when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Rough Riders by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Amani Hawkins paced Panther Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Hawkins got some help from Haliee Irish and her 18 assists.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Saginaw, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Panther Creek has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bridgeport on the 14th. As for Saginaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Poteet on the 14th.
