Softball Recap: Flatonia Comes Up Short

Flatonia and Ganado squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Flatonia had to settle for second. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Thursday.

Flatonia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brynlee Zimmerman, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Flatonia and nudges their season record down to 16-12-1. As for Ganado, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Flatonia nor Ganado have any future games scheduled.
