Volleyball Game Preview: Lavaca Golden Arrows vs. Providence Academy Patriots

Lavaca has gone a perfect 3-0 against Providence Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Golden Arrows will square off against the Patriots at 6:45 p.m. Lavaca will be strutting in after a victory while Providence Academy will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Lavaca beat Ozark 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 20-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Providence Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Thaden. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered since August 26th.

Providence Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Lavaca, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Lavaca was able to grind out a solid victory over Providence Academy in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Arrows since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
