Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kenton). Everything went their way against the Lima Senior Spartans on Saturday as the Kenton Wildcats made off with a 73-53 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats who have now won 11 matches in a row.

Kenton's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Lima Senior, they moved to 13-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Kenton and Lima Senior should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Kenton (ranked 76th) will meet Upper Sandusky (ranked 237th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lima Senior will take on Lima Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 517 places (185 vs. 702).
