Basketball Game Preview: Briggsdale Falcons vs. Kiowa Indians

Having just played yesterday, the Briggsdale Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Kiowa Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Briggsdale has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 17.

Briggsdale is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 71-55 bruising from Fleming on Friday. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 16-12 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Kiowa played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 64-25 loss at the hands of Arickaree. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Bison recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Briggsdale will have to contain Myles Erker as he made an impact in Kiowa's last game. He posted nine points and six rebounds.

Briggsdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Kiowa, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Everything came up roses for Briggsdale against Kiowa in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-35 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Briggsdale since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
