Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charles City). They strolled past the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 75-56. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in December of 2024, they had to take a 63-44 loss.

Charles City's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-17. As for Carver College and Career Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Charles City won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Surry County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Charles City is facing Surry County at the right time seeing as Surry County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Carver College and Career Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
