Preview: Kress Kangaroos vs. Happy Cowboys
Kress is 0-4 against the Cowboys since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Kress Kangaroos will be playing at home against the Happy Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Kress took a serious blow against the Swifts, falling 84-31. Kress has struggled against the Swifts recently, as their match on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Calin Teeple, who scored six points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Morphis, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Happy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 60-47 to Springlake-Earth.
Kress has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Happy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13.
Kress took a serious blow against the Cowboys when the teams last played back in January, falling 72-33. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kress was down 36-15.
