Basketball Recap: Rowe-Clark Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Rowe-Clark can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 win over the Bulls College Prep Bulls. This was a revenge game for the Masai Lions: when they faced off against the Bulls back in December of 2024, they had to take a 64-46 loss.

Rowe-Clark's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Fossett, who posted 15 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeem Sheppard, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Rowe-Clark's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Bulls College Prep, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Rauner the next time they take the court. Rowe-Clark will host Rauner at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Bulls College Prep will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
