Volleyball Game Preview: Serra Cavaliers vs. St. Bernard Vikings

The Serra Cavaliers are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Bernard Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for Serra and four for St. Bernard.

Last Thursday, Serra came up short against Mary Star of the Sea and fell 3-1.

While Serra ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, St. Bernard lost 3-0 to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy on Thursday.

St. Bernard may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

St. Bernard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Serra, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Serra couldn't quite get it done against St. Bernard when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
