Volleyball Game Preview: Monroe Vikings vs. Chavez Eagles

The Monroe Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Chavez Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 13.

Monroe lost 3-0 to Grant on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Chavez came up short against North Hollywood on Monday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8, 21-25, 25-17.

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14-2.

Monroe suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chavez in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
