Troy came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wyalusing Valley Rams 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

Haidyn Watson paced Troy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Watson got some help from Brenna Jackson and her 20 assists. Alli Bailey controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 18-2-1. As for Wyalusing Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Coming up, Troy is taking a road trip to take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wyalusing Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Northeast Bradford on the 11th.
