Softball Recap: St. Henry Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for St. Henry's offense. They came up short against the Dixie Heights Colonels on Wednesday, falling 19-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Colonels: they've now lost seven in a row.

St. Henry now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Dixie Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

Coming up, St. Henry will venture away from home to square off against Beechwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.6 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dixie Heights, they will challenge Carroll County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
