Football Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. Keller Indians

The Trinity Trojans will square off against the Keller Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity will be strutting in after a victory while Keller will be coming in after a defeat.

Trinity is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Timber Creek 55-17 on Friday. With the Trojans ahead 42-3 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Keller didn't have quite enough to beat Byron Nelson on Thursday and fell 30-27. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bobcat: they've now lost six in a row.

Trinity will have to contain Quintin Shropshire as he made an impact in Keller's last game. He rushed for 117 yards and one score while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Shropshire is becoming a predictor of Keller's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Keller, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Trinity strolled past Keller in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 45-30. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
