Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Center Takes a Loss

If Brooklyn Center was riding high fresh off their 87-61 takedown of Columbia Heights last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Brooklyn Center Centaurs had to suffer through a 87-43 loss at the hands of the DeLaSalle Islanders. While losing is never fun, the Centaurs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 339th, while the Islanders are ranked 17th).

Brooklyn Center has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for DeLaSalle, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Brooklyn Center has already played their next contest (against Kennedy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. DeLaSalle has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against St. Anthony Village.
