Basketball Recap: Salisbury Comes Up Short

Salisbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Worcester Prep Mallards. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Dragons have suffered since January 27, 2024.

Salisbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Worcester Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Worcester Prep beat Salisbury by a score of 53-50 on Friday.
